About our Work Placement Programme

Location: Worcester

Our Work Placement scheme is organised by our Junior Lawyer Committee – colleagues with the most recent experience of trying to break into the legal profession.

Thursfields offers the opportunity for undergraduates to experience the reality of a career in law and there’s so much more to law than you might think!

Our placement programme enables you to learn more about different legal disciplines as well as understand the wider aspects of working in a successful law firm, such as marketing and finance.

Choosing the right career is an important decision and so we also provide access to lawyers, who can share their own experiences of starting a legal career to help you make an informed decision.

Winner of the Outstanding Team at the Solihull BID Excellence Awards 2018 and Winner of Excellence in Professional Services at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber Awards 2017, Thursfields is a recognised and growing legal practice in the West Midlands region.

Our minimum requirements for applying are:

– Academics – A Levels (3 B grades) and/or on track for a 2:1 degree

– Experience – 1 year’s experience in a legal or service industry (this could be comprised of several job roles)

We are keen to increase the diversity of our workforce. Our goal is to attract the most talented candidates regardless of their gender, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion or belief, disability or socioeconomic background.
