Thursfields wins Law Firm of the Year Award

Thursfields was awarded Law Firm of the Year (5 -15 partners) at the prestigious Birmingham Law Society’s annual awards dinner, recently held in central Birmingham.

Thursfields has its roots in Worcestershire, but has in recent years expanded into the Black Country and now the Birmingham market.  With a workforce of 120 employees and growing, Thursfields has won a number of significant and high profile clients in the Birmingham market in the past 12 months, including the Birmingham Assay Office and Birmingham Botanical Gardens.  Opening new offices in the Black Country, the private client base has also grown.  The Firm has ambitious plans, having appointed a new executive Board, as well as having introduced skills training and career development schemes for graduates through to directors.

Key lateral hires have seen the firm achieve 30% growth in turnover amongst its commercial teams in the past 12 months, during which time the Corporate Team achieved Legal 500 recognition and won a national award for its work.  The Firm anticipates similar growth in 2016/17 adding yet further breadth and depth to its client offering.
