Thursfields welcome new talent

Thursfields Solicitors is developing more new talent, announcing a series of promotions and new arrivals.

Nicola Pearce and Shauna Halls are promoted from legal assistant to trainee lawyer.

Nicola has been assisting the commercial property team, while Shauna has been attached to the commercial department.

Joseph Rollins has been recruited as a trainee.

Katie Morris, Georgia Morris and Ciaran Moore have been taken on as new legal assistants, and, like Joseph, are Birmingham University graduates.

Under its Career Development Programme, Thursfields recruits from the university, usually on a fixed term contract as a legal assistant with an opportunity to apply for a training contract at the end of that fixed term.

Managing director Nick O’Hara said: “We value our trainees and people in the early stages of their careers very highly. They are the lifeblood of the business. It is great to see existing staff taking a step up the ladder and I welcome our new recruits. We have a terrific relationship with Birmingham University and I am confident they will do well.”
