Thursfields’ offices start reopening for pre-booked appointments

The offices of Thursfields Solicitors have started to reopen for pre-booked appointments as the COVID-19 lockdown begins to ease.

Thursfields has opened its offices in Worcester, Halesowen, Kidderminster, and Solihull, although the majority of staff are working remotely they have practices in place to allow necessary face-to-face appointments to take place.

Julia Warrilow, finance and operations director at Thursfields, said: “We’re so proud of our staff for the way they have worked flexibly during the health crisis powered by the latest technology.

“They have been enthusiastically providing full services for customers via phone, email and video conference platforms such as Zoom, Facetime and WhatsApp.

“This has truly revolutionised working practices across the company, and will continue to make us even more responsive to customer needs in the future.

“Indeed, we have continued to keep remote working in place and to encourage meetings by virtual platforms or over the phone, although where necessary we have  facilities for face-to-face meetings to take place.

“Any customers who need face-to-face meetings – to sign their Wills, for instance – can now pre-book appointments to see a lawyer in person.”

Julia explained that to protect the health and well-being of staff and clients, Thursfields is still having a minimum amount of staff in its offices.

She added: “While we can now arrange pre-booked meetings, we’ll still be strictly adhering to social distancing protocols to keep both our staff and customers safe and healthy.”
