Family Department in line for top award

Thursfields Family Department have been shortlisted for the Family Law Regional Firm of the Year – Midlands.

Hollie Styles, Associate Member of ACILEx has been shortlisted for family law chartered legal executive or paralegal of the year.

Hollie Styles joined Thursfields Family Department in 2007. Hollie has learned skills since joining the business as a legal secretary. Hollie has worked her way up and therefore has knowledge of being able to deal with matters from an administration perspective and also fee earning.  Her specialist areas are in relation to children. She has had to deal with some very complex cases during her time with Thursfields.

Shane Miller, head of Thursfields Family Department says; “we are incredibly proud of Hollie and this is a really exciting time for the Family Law Department. In 2016 alone the team saw growth of 17% and a high level of credible candidates have been recruited into the department over the last 18 months”.

The nominations reinforce the teams position as one of the leading advisers in the Worcestershire and West Midlands area and its success is largely based upon the cohesive and unified approach taken by the team.

The awards are organised by the Family Law Awards and the ceremony will be held on Wednesday 29 November at The Ball Room, South Bank, one of the most excusive venues in London.
