Thursfields’ Executive becomes Solihull BID Board Member

Louise Jones, Thursfields’ Head of New Homes, has been appointed to the board of Solihull Business and Improvement District (BID).

Louise, who is based at Thursfields’ Solihull office said: “I think it’s crucial that local businesses work together to help improve the areas where they operate, and I’m really looking forward to playing my part on the BID board. Thursfields is quickly expanding in Solihull from its offices at The Courtyard on the Warwick Road, and as part of this we are really keen to contribute to the wider business and public in and around Solihull.”

Solihull BID works with a variety of agencies to reduce crime, increase footfall and support thriving independent businesses. It is funded by each business within the town centre through a levy on business rates.

Melanie Palmer, Director, Solihull BID, said: “We are delighted to welcome Louise to the BID board. The enthusiasm, commitment and skills she brings to the table will enhance our full board, greatly contributing to our community impact and the sustainability of our projects.”
