Thursfields Advises Worcester Based Airband Community Internet

The technology and creative industries team at West Midlands firm, Thursfields, has advised Airband Community Internet in connection with their successful bid to supply rural broadband services into Wales.

Airband, who are based in Worcester already have established broadband networks across Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire and have now added Wales, Devon and Somerset to their portfolio.

Managing Director and co-founder of Airband, Redmond Peel said “2015 has been a hugely successful year for Airband. Securing this contract with the Welsh Authority, as well as the contract in Devon and Somerset, is a real game changer for us.
