Thanksgiving quiz a huge success and raises £4,150 for The Prince’s Trust

On 23 November 2017, Thursfields were proud sponsors of a Thanksgiving themed quiz night in aid of The Prince’s Trust.

30 teams from local businesses across Worcestershire and the West Midlands gathered at Worcestershire County Cricket Club to battle it out to be crowned the winner.

Taking the top spot was ‘The Ballards of John and Yoko’ from Ballard Dale Syree Watson, who were closely followed by ‘Grant Untied’ from Andrew Grant in second place and ‘Three Saints and a Sinner’ from Prosperity Wealth in third place.

The event, which was organised by Kirsty Underhill, a trainee solicitor at Thursfields and a member of The Prince’s Trust Herefordshire and Worcestershire Development Committee, raised a total of £4,150 for The Trust.

Nick O’Hara, Thursfields’ Managing Director, commented: “I was really pleased to see such a great turn out of local businesses for our Thanksgiving themed event. Everyone had an enjoyable and competitive evening but, most importantly, thanks to everyone’s support, we managed to raise a fantastic amount of money for the charity. We have supported The Prince’s Trust for many years and it is refreshing to know that all funds raised are kept within the two counties and used to support disadvantaged young people in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.”
