Jill Roberts

Jill qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in December 2012, having trained at firms in Worcester and London. She has over 14 years experience within family law, having studied and trained whilst working full time.

She spent 5 years in London gaining experience of conducting cases in both The Principal Registry of the Family Division and the High Court at the Royal Courts of Justice, as well as local Courts outside London and across the Midlands.

Jill specialises in all areas of family law including Divorce; Contested Divorce (including jurisdiction issues); Financial matters arising from a Divorce; Cohabitation; Financial matters arising from Non-married couples separating; Children matters including living arrangements, the amount of time spent with parents, issues concerning children’s welfare/upbringing and applications to take children out of the jurisdiction; Enforcement and Variation of Orders and Injunctions.

She has experience of dealing with cases involving complex issues and financial matters with substantial and varied assets, which require both commercial awareness and a dynamic approach.

Jill is passionate about achieving the best outcome for clients and ensuring as far as possible that their own and their families’ needs are preserved, protected and cared for.

Her role is to support separating couples and guide them through a relationship breakdown with dignity. This is often a very sensitive and distressing time for both the parties separating and any children involved and her experience and expert knowledge allows her to provide pro-active; accurate and cost-effective advice in a straightforward way.

Jill has a constructive; approachable and personable nature, which allows clients to feel listened to and reassured throughout the process, as each individual client has different needs and anxieties.

She adopts as amicable an approach as possible and promotes settlement without the need for Court Proceedings to become involved. However, should this become necessary she has the strength and expertise to represent you confidently. She has sound negotiation skills allowing her to achieve fair settlements and solutions, both in and out of Court, to help and assist parties resolve issues in a practical and understanding manner.
