Settlement Agreement

If you have been provided with a Settlement Agreement by your employer you will need to seek independent legal advice before signing it. Thursfields’ employment team has extensive experience in advising employees in relation to the rights that they could be waiving, if they sign the Settlement Agreement.

Settlement Agreements are a legally binding document which can bring an employment relationship to an end or to resolve a workplace dispute.  Once a valid Settlement Agreement has been signed you are then unable to bring any tribunal or court proceedings against your employer.
