Zoe joined Thursfields in January 2014 after qualifying as a solicitor in the summer of 2013. Zoe enjoyed various positions at another Worcestershire law firm for 9 years previously and so has a wealth of experience in the role, having undertaken her legal studies whilst working throughout.
Zoe is recommended in the Legal 500 2019 edition.
Whilst Zoe advises on all areas of wills, estate administration and powers of attorney, Zoe’s particular area of specialism is trusts. This includes the creation, ongoing administration and winding up of various types of trusts (most commonly, will trusts, lifetime settlements, personal injury trusts and charitable foundations).
Zoe is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is currently undertaking exams for the STEP Diploma, a highly regarded qualification in the area of trusts. She is also a member of the Law Society Private Client Section.
Outside of work, Zoe enjoys spending time with her young family and long walks being pulled around by her Siberian Husky!
Complexities of purchasing a new property, having children from previous marriages and rapidly changing circumstances could have made us defer updating our wills. Zoe explained how our will could be written to cover all issues for the foreseeable future. Zoe used clear and straightforward language, answering all our questions. A speedy and efficient service.
