Listing in prestigious legal wealth guide for top Thursfields lawyer | Wills and Estates

A top lawyer at Thursfields Solicitors has been included in a prestigious national legal guide that highlights top professional advisers for wealthy clients.

Ruth Baker, an associate director in the Wills & Estates department in Thursfields’s Worcester office, is one of just two lawyers ranked in the Chambers High Net Worth (HNW) Guide from the whole of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

The Chambers HNW Guide ranks the top lawyers and law firms for international private wealth and is used by family offices and professional advisers to wealthy individuals to make sure they get “objective guidance on an international scale”.

Lauren Hartigan-Pritchard, head of Wills & Estates at Thursfields, said: “We’re thrilled to see that Ruth’s hard work has been acknowledged by one of the leading guides in the UK.

“This is a significant achievement, as these recommendations are based on in-depth analysis provided by Chambers’ team of experienced researchers.

“The listing showcases a comprehensive profile of Ruth’s background and expertise to the wider world, once again establishing Thursfields’ reputation as a trusted supplier of quality advice.”

Ruth joined Thursfields last July after spending seven years at Willans Solicitors in Cheltenham, where she ended up as a partner.

She specialises in wills and estate planning, the administration of estates, the creation and administration of trusts, and powers of attorney, focusing on high net-worth clients with complex estates.

She has been featured as a respected lawyer in the Legal 500 and Chambers directories for several years, with one client saying “she knows her stuff, is articulate and has really good attention to detail,” and another client describing her as “efficient” and that she “gives excellent advice”.

Ruth said: “I’m really pleased to have received this ranking in the Chambers HNW Guide.

“To be one of only two lawyers ranked in the whole of Herefordshire and Worcestershire is very satisfying.”
