Moonlight, mistletoe, music and merriment.
Thursfields is hosting a Moonlight & Mistletoe Charity Ball on Friday 1 December in support of New College Worcester, the national residential school and college for blind or partially sighted young people aged 11-19 years old.
“Christmas starts here,” said Thursfields Director Shane Miller, “Get on your glad rags and dust off your dancing shoes.”
The black-tie function takes place at the Bank House Hotel between Great Malvern and Worcester and is organised by Stourbridge firm Events With The Edge.
Tickets are £65 plus VAT or £650.00 plus VAT for a table of 10.
It features a live band, entertainment, dinner, drinks and dancing.
New College Worcester choir will be performing and there are luxury prizes to be won in a “Can’t Be Bought” auction.
Shane added: “The college does wonderful work and this is an opportunity to let your hair down while knowing that simply by attending you will be doing a great deal of good.”
College Principal Nic Ross said: “A big thank-you to Thursfields for making this possible while also allowing our choir to showcase their talent.”
The College accepts students with a wide range of visual impairments and some have additional needs such as hearing issues, Asperger’s Syndrome or limited mobility.
