Careers Challenge Day at Kings Norton Girls School & Sixth Form

Priya Ohri, Trainee Solicitor, was pleased to attend the recent Careers Challenge Day at Kings Norton Girls School & Sixth Form. Priya was invited to talk to students about what it is really like to have a career in the law and to advise students who are interested in pursuing that path how to go about it.

Many professionals from a range of businesses attended the event, giving students an opportunity to find out more about various careers. The purpose of the event was to help the Year 9 students be more aware of the career paths available to them.

Priya said “I was impressed that Kings Norton Girls School & Sixth Form offered this facility to their students, as it allows the girls to consider from an early age, what careers they want to pursue and why. Not only did it allow them to ask the questions they felt were relevant, but also to have direct contact with someone that works in the profession in which they were interested. It was an inspiring afternoon”.
