Award Win For Thursfields’ Corporate Team
Thursfields’ corporate team has recently been named Deal Maker of the Year by Finance Monthly Magazine. The awards recognise excellence in corporate transactions completed in 2015.
The award rounds off a successful 2015 for Thursfields’ corporate team. Thursfields was singled out by Finance Monthly for its involvement in a number of complex and high profile transactions – in particular, advising CFI Group on its acquisition of Concept Furniture International, Turbine Engineering Services on an international trade deal (involving counterparties in the US and the Middle East) and Airband Community Internet on its deal with The Welsh Authority and Broadband Development UK to supply rural broadband services into Wales.
Earlier in 2015, Thursfields’ corporate team received high praise from the Legal 500, the UK’s leading guide to the legal profession. In the latest edition of the Legal 500, Thursfields’ corporate team is recommended for providing “sound, practical advice” and Gareth Burge (director) and Stuart Price (senior solicitor) are rated as being excellent.
